From July 11 to 13, annual Investment Festival took place \u2013 the largest investor community event in Estonia and the only one of its kind in the Nordic countries and the Baltics. This time, Everaus Kinnisvara provided momentum and support for a new theme stage \u2013 Everaus Kinnisvara Stage.<\/p>\n
The new focus topic was long-awaited by the festival participants \u2013 the festival organizing team supplemented the program based on the feedback from the participants from previous years, taking as a guideline the most talked-about topics in the real estate industry. The Everaus Kinnisvara Stage program and discussion panels were moderated by Algis Liblik<\/strong> and Siim Semiskar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Erkki Raasuke<\/strong> opened the theme stage program with a discussion of what has been learned from the crises and challenges that have occurred over the past three decades, and even longer ago. From here, the recommendation to constantly improve oneself sounded like one of the truths of life: \u201cLife is like pushing water uphill in such a way that it never runs out. If you take your hand away, the water flows back down.\u201d T\u00f5nu Toompark<\/strong>, well-known in the real estate sector, continued the program with a strong practical session, giving the audience a practical tool for a thorough profitability calculation of a rental project. How to increase capital by flipping apartments was an exciting topic of discussion with Julia Kangro<\/strong> and Aleksei Oleinik<\/strong>. A strong statement was also heard from this topic block: \u201cFlipping apartments can bring 100% return\u201d. A strong discussion panel with Ergo M\u00f5ttus<\/strong>, with 20 years of real estate investment experience, opened the topic of the possibilities of the rental business. While T\u00f5nu Toompark admitted in his presentation that the long-term rental business has been exhausted, M\u00f5ttus did not agree with this 100% – according to the man, the key is to achieve an effect of scale in order to get the rental property to work for you as much as possible. The real estate stage program would not have been complete without a topic that has been burning Estonian real estate investors for some time now – whether to purchase real estate abroad and where to go specifically.
