What attracts young people to move outside the capital?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Family-friendly living environment\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Suburban life is more family-friendly and offers a safe and natural environment, which is highly valued by young families with children. People prefer to live among people with similar lifestyles, values and socio-economic backgrounds, which is why the neighbourhood is taken into account when choosing a place to set up home. Community identity and unity provide security and a support network of good neighbours, often good new friends. For young families, having space and air is important, which is also one of the common reasons why they prefer a more private home outside the city to a flat in the city.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Luige, a highly valued residential area on the outskirts of Tallinn, offers all this and more.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Dynamic fa\u00e7ades<\/em> <em>make Luige residential quarter distinctive and striking. Photo: Kaupo Kalda<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Tallinn is closer than you think, and the opportunities the city has to offer are even closer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Luige, located on Viljandi highway, is just a 15-minute drive from Tallinn city centre. The new Kangru junction, which will be completed in the coming years, will make travelling in the direction of Tallinn even more convenient for people with or without cars. Fast and efficient public transport on the Rail Baltic railway line through the Luige train station will also bring the capital\u2019s workplaces and educational institutions closer to Luige once the line is completed. It\u2019s also telling that you can get to the capital not only by car and public transport, but also by walking, running, cycling or using a light electric vehicle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Luige and the surrounding area have developed rapidly in recent years and are still developing. The Luige Centre with a Rimi supermarket, pharmacy, pet shop, 24\/7 gym and restaurants was opened recently. New commercial space is under construction, as well as a world-class beach pavilion and padel club. The area\u2019s new centre, Kurna Park, with the IKEA store, also brings facilities characteristic of cities closer to home without having to actually go to the city. In addition, the largest and most modern beauty studio in the region, Sinu Elu, opened this summer in Vaela, next to IKEA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The region\u2019s school-age children attend Kiili Upper Secondary School and various general education schools in Tallinn.
