Everaus Kinnisvara becomes Baltic market leader with opening of new Haabersti mini-storage complex

Everaus Kinnisvara has opened a new contactless mini-storage complex in Haabersti, which is open for rentals starting today, January 20th. The four-story building features a total of 341 mini-storage units and garage-warehouses ranging in size from 1.5 to 25 m². Together with their existing Peetri complex, the company’s portfolio now exceeds 675 units, confirming Everaus Kinnisvara’s position as the largest provider of mini-storage rental services in the Baltics.

The facility is accessible to tenants 24/7, and the entire rental process is designed to be convenient and fast – contracts can be signed online in just a few minutes without leaving home or the office, or even via a smart device directly at the site.

“When we entered the mini-storage market in 2021, we wanted to break the memory of damp and dark basement cages and offer a modern storage solution that keeps pace with technological developments in the sector. Our first complex in Peetri was very well received, and the rapidly growing population of Haabersti has been eagerly awaiting this opening. A warm, secure storage space accessible 24/7 is the best way to solve permanent or temporary space shortages for both local residents and small businesses,” commented Janar Muttik, CEO and founder of the company.

Everaus Kinnisvara launched the first contactless self-storage concept on the market over four years ago in Peetri, where a complex with 335 storage units continues to operate today. The new self-storage complex being developed in Haabersti is a logical step in expanding the availability of this proven service. Self-storage is ideal for storing seasonal hobby equipment (scooters, bicycles, motorcycles, skiing, surfing, and golf gear, etc.), vehicle tires, summer and garden furniture, smaller furniture items, home and garden supplies, tools, and “just in case” items in storage boxes. It is also perfect for (Christmas) decorations, small quantities of goods, and business supplies (trade show and presentation equipment, office furniture, etc.), as well as many other items typically kept in a pantry, garage, or shed.

Everaus Kinnisvara raised capital through a bond issue, which was used to co-finance the construction of the Haabersti complex alongside bank loans and other real estate financing options. “The strongly performed emissions support the achievement of our strategic goals and the efficient implementation of our development plans. The new Haabersti complex and the Lennuradari warehouse complex expansion have been completed as planned, likewise, the residential developments in Luige and Järveküla are also nearing completion on schedule,” Muttik added.

The Haabersti mini-storage complex was completed in cooperation with Maru Ehitus AS.
