Everaus signs deal with Maru Ehitus for construction of largest self-storage complex in Baltic States

Everaus has entered into a contract with Maru Ehitus for the construction of an unmanned storage facility on the border of the Haabersti and Õismäe districts in Tallinn. Following the opening of the complex in late 2025, Everaus will become the largest provider of self-storage rental services in the Baltic States.

Almost four years ago, Everaus became the first company in Estonia to launch a 100% unmanned storage service which allows users to sign a lease agreement on its website in just a few minutes and to start using the storage facility immediately. “The response we got assured us that the solution meets people’s needs, so we decided to expand and build another even bigger complex,” explained Janar Muttik, the CEO of Everaus Kinnisvara. “More than 50,000 people live in the Haabersti district, and many of its apartment buildings lack warm, dry storage spaces. That’s why there was such high demand for a quality self-storage service in the area that would be open round the clock.”

Maru Ehitus CEO Margo Dengo says it is important to the company to contribute to a modern, high-quality urban environment. “We’re delighted to be partnering with Everaus in the construction of this new self-storage complex,” she said. “The Haabersti area is developing very rapidly, and its residents have a growing need for storage facilities that are both safe and convenient. Construction doesn’t have to be a headache: our aim is to ensure a smooth, efficient process so that the complex can open its doors by the end of the year and offer residents a truly high-quality service.”

The Everaus self-storage facility in Peetri offers 335 storage spaces. The new four-storey complex on the border of Haabersti and Õismäe will have 342 storage spaces ranging in size from 2-20 m², including practical garages with roller doors. Construction is due to begin in March and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2025.
