On September 5–6, the 13th Real Estate Seminar took place at Pihlaka Farm in Peetri.
The event brought together a wide range of real estate enthusiasts – from small-scale investors to top executives of the sector. Everaus Kinnisvara is proud to have been one of the organizers for the fourth year in a row, contributing to the success of this high-value event. During this content-packed weekend, the company also celebrated its 10th anniversary.
Day One: Podcast Recording and Everaus 10
Friday evening was dedicated to marking Everaus Kinnisvara’s ten years of activity. As part of the program, a new episode of the podcast “Kinnisvarajutud” was recorded live on stage. The hosts, Algis Liblik and Siim Semiskar, welcomed as their guests entrepreneur, event organizer, celebrity manager and influencer Marlen Võsujalg, as well as actor, host and comedian Kait Kall.
The conversation revolved around the symbolic “unlaid planks” – a humorous metaphor for life’s unfinished tasks that often mark both endings and new beginnings. On a more serious note, Kait shared his experience of renovating a summer house, while Marlen spoke about her apartment flipping projects and her encounters with the Spanish real estate market. Day Two: In-Depth Presentations and Discussions
Saturday began with a global real estate market outlook delivered by Peeter Koppel – a wide-ranging and eye-opening presentation that, in his signature style, was sharp, focused, and sprinkled with refined humor. After setting the stage with the big picture, Tõnu Toompark, trainer and consultant at Kinnisvarakool, provided a thorough overview of the local market outlook, highlighting both upcoming opportunities and risks real estate investors may face in the near future.
Next, Jonna Pechter, Head of Marketing at Luminor Bank, offered insights from the banking sector, discussing the current dynamics of the lending market and presenting the results of a Luminor client survey. She was followed by the dynamic duo of Karin Oras, Partner and Attorney-at-Law at TRINITI Law Office, and Bill Valdre, CEO of Kurg & Korsten Real Estate Agency. Their topic: recurring legal mistakes made by real estate investors. Drawing on high-profile cases from recent years, they shared practical advice on how to prevent and avoid similar pitfalls.
The legal focus continued with Marko Saag, Partner and Attorney-at-Law at ATTELA Law Office, who delivered a comprehensive session on important tax changes for real estate investors and how to avoid taxation errors in property purchases, sales, and rentals.
Maia Karro, CEO of Elamus Kinnisvara and licensed broker, led a panel discussion titled “Are We at the Beginning of a New Upswing – What Is Really Happening in the Market?” Her fellow panelists were Eve Kaunis, Partner and licensed broker at ELUM Kinnisvara OÜ, and Marti J. Mägi, Sales Manager at Everaus Kinnisvara.
The real estate field has not been untouched by the rise of artificial intelligence solutions. Henrik Aavik, Amerply AI expert and consultant, took the stage to demonstrate how AI can make the life of a real estate investor easier and their work more efficient.
The seminar day concluded with an inspiring keynote by Janar Muttik, Founder and CEO of Everaus Kinnisvara, who shared his entrepreneurial journey of “rollercoasters” – how to build a successful company despite setbacks.
Saturday’s program was curated by investor, entrepreneur, and real estate developer Karin Vinkel.
